Ganesh Gopalakrishnan is an Analyst with the Centralized Recruitment team of the Business Ready Unit, which he joined in September 2024. Before joining the World Bank, Ganesh worked at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas in India and advised financial institutions on legal and policy issues. Ganesh was also previously a Research Fellow in the Department of Economic Affairs (Ministry of Finance, Government of India)-National Institute of Public Finance and Policy Research Programme. During this time, he assisted the Government of India on legal and policy issues in relation to financial services. He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from Harvard Law School and is admitted to practice law in India.
