Lucie Taieb

Lucie Taieb is an Analyst with the Market Competition - Innovation topic of the Business Ready Unit. She joined the team in July 2024 following a four-month internship within the same indicator. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, Lucie was a United Nations Volunteer at the UNFPA working remotly on data collection and research to advance the organization’s mandate. She also held various research assistant positions alongside her studies, and notably worked at McGill University on the role of Parliament as an enabler of the business environment. Lucie holds a double Master in International Relations from Sciences Po, France and Peking University, China where she focused on innovation in China and the role of international organizations. She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University’s faculty of Management in Montreal, Canada where she combined her interests for the private sector and firms’ potential for social impact. She is fluent in French and has knowledge of Spanish and Mandarin.
