Viktoriya Ereshchenko

Viktoriya Ereshchenko is a Private Sector Development Specialist in the Business Ready unit, where she leads the Utility Services topic. She previously led the Getting Electricity indicator within the Doing Business project and worked on Knowledge for Change Program project on Business Reform Committees. Viktoriya joined Global Indicators Group of the Development Economics Vice-Presidency in March 2018 and has worked within the World Bank country office in Kuala Lumpur. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, Viktoriya worked on a research project funded by the World Bank Group on ‘Deep Trade Agreements’, for which she co-authored a research paper on Government Procurement. She also worked as a Research Assistant with the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. Prior to this, Viktoriya worked for a consulting firm in New Delhi, India, on international development issues; and worked with international organizations in Geneva in the field of international trade and economics. Viktoriya holds a master’s in international law and economics from the World Trade Institute in Switzerland, and she also holds a Master’s Degree in international trade from Saint Petersburg State University in Russia. Viktoriya speaks Russian.
