As part of the implementation of the FCV Strategy; the WBG is scaling up its strategic; operational; and analytical support to address the diverse risks impacting fragile and conflict-affected countries. The FCV Group plays an important role in operationalizing the FCV Strategy and providing tailored support to country management units (CMUs) and sectoral teams to address specific country and regional-level FCV challenges more effectively. In that context; the WB wants to deepen its understanding and knowledge of dynamic and rapidly changing political economy and FCV-related developments. The WB seeks to engage a vendor that provides monitoring and analysis of local (and regional) FCV dynamics in the Sahel region to better understand the forward-looking risks of fragility; conflict; and violence that may emerge or intensify. The services include regular briefings highlighting monitoring and analysis of FCV risks and the provision of written follow-up summary briefs for each region.
