The Haryana Clean Air and Sustainable Development Program; a hybrid Program for Results (PforR) and Investment Project Financing (IPF) hybrid operation; aims to reduce air pollution by supporting the Haryana government¡¯s Clean Air Plan and the National Clean Air Program. The operation will focus on strengthening air quality management; integrating multisectoral strategies; and investing in key sectors such as transport; agriculture; industry; and construction to tackle particulate matter and greenhouse gas emissions. It will be implemented over 6 years (2024-30) with US$300 million in IBRD financing. The project is a complex multi sector initiative requiring strong coordination and local leadership to drive the processes forward. With this background; the World Bank is seeking to hire a firm to assist and fast track the preparation process in Haryana; in order for the project to be negotiated in March 2025 and delivered to the World Bank Board shortly thereafter
