The study aims to bridge the protection gap for women by building on the findings and recommendations from the original SheforShield report <https://www.ifc.org/en/insights-reports/2015/2015-sheforshield>  released in 2015. The project is a collaboration between the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and AXA Group; and it seeks to assess the progress made since 2015 and provide a clear call to action for achieving better protection for women globally by 2030.SheForShield 2.0 aims to:1.Provide an updated and consolidated analysis of women's attitudes towards insurance and access; focusing on outlining key actions necessary to address women's needs better.2.Emphasize the changes; progress; and gaps observed between 2015 and 2025; and3.Offer recommendations and a strong call to action across all required stakeholders involved in ensuring insurance schemes serve and benefit women globally.
