To achieve universal coverage by 2030 on the African continent, current progress must be three to six times higher. Otherwise, millions of people in our countries will still not have access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene. In our fragile countries, where the risk of lack of drinking water, sanitation and hygiene is twice higher, this ratio should be multiplied by 23. This is a major collective challenge!
