Narya Ou joined the World Bank in 2004 as a Program Assistant with the Cambodia Country Office. She first provided support to the Agriculture & Food, Social Development, and Environment GPs, and later worked as the Executive Assistant to the Country Manager in 2021. Prior to the Bank, she worked as an Administrative and Finance Manager with Cooperation Committee for Cambodia (CCC) for 10 years.
She is currently joining the East Asia and Pacific Chief Economist Office as a Program Assistant based in Washington D.C from July 1, 2023. She provides comprehensive overall administrative and logistic supports to the Chief Economist and the team. She also spends half her time supporting the Pacific Islands, Philippines, and BMPT CMUs.
