The event was supported by the Central Asia Water and Energy Program (CAWEP), a regional knowledge and technical assistance partnership administered by the World Bank and funded by the European Union, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. CAWEP aims to promote water and energy security at regional level and in the beneficiary countries and funds initiatives that support improvements in water and energy management and development, strengthen institutions and facilitate regional dialogue to advance sustainable development and climate resilience.
