In 2004, Austria and the World Bank Group established a Vienna-based program, sparking a rapidly growing partnership. Vienna¡¯s proximity to clients has allowed the World Bank Group to build stronger relationships, expand its programs, and provide support for needed reforms. Today, the World Bank Group Office in Vienna has 90 staff who works closely with regional and global partners. With its European and global outreach, the office has become a center of learning, regularly hosting conferences, events, and peer-to-peer learning. ľ¹ÏÓ°Ôº Group¡¯s convening power is seen as an important advantage in delivering results on the ground.
