Planning is the first stage of the Myanmar National Community Driven Development Project. Supported by trained facilitators, communities jointly prioritize and plan community-level infrastructure projects such as a bridge, school or road. Shin Par Naing, who is in charge of village tract finance, explains how the project ensures transparency and how villagers themselves elect members to serve on the committees where women are represented equally.
