With Coronavirus now spreading around the globe, urgent action is required to help countries respond. A rapid response can help stop transmission and protect lives. And it is often poorer countries with weak health systems that are hardest hit by such outbreaks. ľ¹ÏÓ°Ôº Group is providing up to $12 billion in immediate support for member countries coping with the health and economic impact of COVID-19. It has pledged to help train more frontline health workers, improve access to healthcare for the poorest and to strengthen disease monitoring.
