The Nai Manzil ("New Horizons") program run by India¡¯s Ministry of Minority Affairs ¨C and supported by ľ¹ÏÓ°Ôº with a loan of $50 million ¨C provides school dropouts from minority communities in 26 states and 3 union territories with six months of education and three months of skills training, followed by a further six months of support to help them establish themselves. Amongst the more than 98,000 disadvantaged minority youth who have benefitted from the program, this short video captures its life-changing impact on 3 beneficiaries who reported better earnings, improved lifestyles, increased self-confidence, and enhanced capacity to face challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic.
