The T¨¹rkiye Country Climate and Development Report offers a roadmap for T¨¹rkiye to reduce emissions, protect its people and bolster economic growth. According to the report, T¨¹rkiye can expand solar and wind capacity to power homes, businesses, mass transport and industries. Clean renewable energy will enhance the country¡¯s energy security and slash costs. Adopt sustainable forestry practices and combat illegal logging and deforestation. This will maximize carbon capture and reduce the risk of wildfires. T¨¹rkiye can also cut down industrial pollution by using greener and more efficient technologies. Doing so will boost T¨¹rkiye¡¯s share in global trade particularly its exports to the key market of the European Union.
