On 14 November 2022, government officials representing health, environment, and agriculture sectors from all of the Central Asian countries gathered in Almaty to formally launch the development of the Central Asia One Health Framework for Action. The Framework for Action will help address three high-level goals shared among the Central Asian countries: pandemic prevention and preparedness, resilience of food systems, and improving regional trade and the competitiveness of agriculture.
