Maurice Nsabimana works as a Statistician/Data Engineer focusing on international comparisons, national accounts, and statistical capacity-building in the World Bank¡¯s Development Data Group. He has previously worked in the private sector, civil society, and at a think-tank. His research interests lie at the intersection of computational economics, machine learning, and public policy, as well as in the development of new, practical methods and information technologies that can be directly applied to strengthen local capacity. He's an economist and computer scientist by training, and is a graduate from Columbia University and from Vesalius College in Brussels, Belgium.
