Module 4: Strengthening health systems in situations of protracted forced displacement

The fourth module of the??training program focuses on health systems in situations of protracted forced displacement. Led by Monette Zard, Director of the Program on Forced Migration and Health at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, and Wu Zeng, Associate Professor in the Department of Global Health, School of Health at Georgetown University, this training highlights key findings of the World Bank's .

Along with this module, the study aims to provide programming and policy guidance to national and international actors who are involved in directing and funding health responses in situations of protracted forced displacement. Throughout the session, we seek to explore and elucidate the issues of integrated and parallel health systems?and of financing for health systems in these settings.

Commissioned by the UK government, the World Bank, and UNHCR, the study was carried out by a consortium of universities, including Columbia University, the American University of Beirut, Brandeis University, Georgetown University, and Universidad de los Andes.??
