This event focused on findings and lessons learned from recent GovTech initiatives in Chile and Cambodia, supported through the World Bank GovTech Global Partnership (GTGP). The event sought to inspire innovative approaches in future GovTech initiatives globally, providing participants with a dynamic space to exchange ideas, discuss challenges, and explore innovative solutions.
Established in 2019, the GTGP is a multi-stakeholder initiative by the World Bank's Governance Global Practice in partnership with the Government of Switzerland, Austria, and Korea. Over the past years, the GTGP has supported World Bank country teams in implementing 20 transformative GovTech initiatives, together with the experts from the GovTech Innovation Lab.
Notably, in Chile, technical assistance enhanced service delivery for gender-based violence cases through an Integrated Case Management Platform. In Cambodia, the team assisted the Ministry of Civil Service in modernizing the Human Resource Management Information System. These initiatives are great examples for other countries, embodying GovTech principles, such as interoperability, accessibility, and user-centricity.
