In the Sahel, livestock farming provides a livelihood for more than 20 million people, 75% of whom migrate each year in search of pastures and water for their herds. Climate change, increasing insecurity and population growth are creating tensions over sharing dwindling natural resources. We follow pastoralist families as they undertake a months-long journey from Mauritania to Senegal in search of greener pastures for the animals they look after.
