Improving Natural Resource Management to Enhance Resilience of Communities in Zambia

The in Zambia is improving natural resource management in selected districts by supporting sustainable livelihoods. The $100 million project targets 16 districts in three provinces: Luapula, Muchinga, and Northern Province. In this video, we hear from men, women, and youth, like Dimus Mukabe and Esther Kasanga, Ivy Kaluba, and Andrew Sampa about how the TRALARD project is improving livelihoods, building community resilience, and improving the management of natural resources in their community. The project is supporting Zambia¡¯s goal to have climate change mainstreamed in the most economically important and vulnerable sectors of the economy. About 562,800 people have benefited from TRALARD, and at least 50% of beneficiaries are female-headed households.
