Central Asia is vulnerable to the adverse effects of a rapidly changing climate given its agrarian economy, aging infrastructure, and rapid population growth. In response to this pressing threat to lives and livelihoods, government officials, civil society, international organizations, youth representatives, and media convened in Dushanbe on May 2023 for the Fifth Central Asia Climate Change Conference to discuss collective solutions.
