Since its launch in 2015, the original Africa Climate Business Plan supported 346 projects with more than $33 billion in World Bank financing over the past six years. It has become a critical support mechanism to help client countries institutionalize climate action and meet their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), submitted under the Paris Agreement. Over the next six years (2021¨C26), the World Bank will continue to work with African countries to continue to tackle climate change.
