A critical objective of the World Bank Group (WBG) and Ministry of Economy and Finance (MoEF) partnership is to harness the expertise and capacity of Korean institutions to support country needs and promote the delivery of assistance to the client countries. At the end of 2021, the WBG had five formal memorandum of understandings (MOUs) with key Korean institutions in the financial sectors, and more than 45 partnerships with both the financial and private sectors, which added value to the Finance, Competitiveness and Innovation (FCI) teams and EAP client countries. These key partners are shown in the figure below.
